We’ll admit it – we never imagined that one day we’d be using Tefal on our hair. Now here we are, curling and twirling with hair tools from the French brand.
Yep, Tefal has ventured into personal care and homecare by adding hairdryers, curlers, hair straighteners, fans, air purifiers, vacuum cleaners and more to its well-loved cookware and linen care range. And if its iconic non-stick pots and pans are anything to go by, you can expect all these new offerings to make life easier.
Want to Tefal your hair too? Try these three new tools:
Tefal Respectissim Liss & Curl HS7640, $99.90
This straightener goes from zero to 200 degrees in just 30 seconds — that’s enough time for you to section your hair and prep with heat-protecting mist. Its ceramic plates and ionic generator keep frizz at bay and add lustre to your mane. The best part: Its silicon strip (don’t worry, it doesn’t yank) at the end of the heating plate allows the tool to deliver better results at a lower temperature. And with some practice, you can even use this as a curler.
Tefal Respectissim Precious Curls HX3410, $79.90
This fool-proof curler with a 25mm barrel is great for starters. The Ceraminc Tourmaline Coated tool has a setting that offers pre-programmed temperature levels based on one of three hair types – thin, normal or thick. There’s even a timer that beeps to indicate when it’s time to release the curled section after five, eight or 10 seconds, so your hair doesn’t get fried.
Tefal Respectissim Pro Hair Dryer HV7420, $79.90
You’re not alone if there were nights you wished your hair would just dry quickly so you could go to sleep. This powerful 2,400-watt hair dryer doesn’t just dry hair fast, it also contains a “respect” function that promises to leave strands 25 per cent less dehydrated than other dryers. With this function, hot air is set at a comfortable 65 degrees and blasts at 15 metres a second to dry hair without damaging it at the same time.
