Food and makeup often go hand-in-hand, like cocoa powder bronzers or DIY lip balms made of strawberries. But what’s the link between chicken rice and eyeshadow?

The eyeshadow palette in question is The Body Shop’s latest range of Down To Earth Eyeshadow quads and the Down To Earth palette. Just like chicken rice, these eyeshadows consist of sesame oils, but unlike Singapore’s favourite food, they are also 100% vegan.

Inspired by nature, these skin-friendly eyeshadows are also enriched with babassu oils, and don’t contain petroleum or mineral oil. The rich, pigmented hues in both the palette and quads also take cues from nature, featuring versatile browns and greens that are blendable and long-lasting, whether you use them wet or dry.

Friendly to both skin and the earth, this is one eyeshadow palette both vegans and meat-lovers can agree on. Scroll through the gallery above to check out all the different colour combinations to expect now!

The Down To Earth Palette ($52.90) and Down To Earth Eyeshadow Quads ($36.90) will be available at all The Body Shop stores from 13 October 2016.
