Shiseido Vital-Perfection Treatment Cleansing Foam.

The perfect facial wash if you have ageing concerns, as this actually felt nourishing and kind to my face. The foam left a creamy sensation that cushioned my skin as it cleansed and left it supple and brighter.

Sisley Gentle Cleansing Gel with Tropical Resins, $110.

I’ve tried many facial washes to control my oily T-zone. This is the only one that seems to help! After two days of using this, my T-zone was noticeably less oily and I didn’t need to blot my face with blotters as often during the day.

The Body Shop 3-in-1 Wash.Scrub.Mask, $29.90.

I’m prone to bouts of adult acne, so the inclusion of clay and tea tree oil helped to purify my ores and balance my greasy skin. I like that it foamed up nicely while its fine granules exfoliated my skin. Plus, I can leave it on oilier areas of my face for five to 10 minutes as a detoxifying mask.

Clé de Peau Beauté Clarifying/Softening Cleansing Foam, $89.

The most luxurious cleansing foam I’ve ever tried — it lathered up wonderfully and my skin was treated to a soft, super-foamy cleanse. What’s more, it felt gentle while effectively cleansing, so there was no residual dirt when I swiped my skin with softener after.

Seah Soo Lin, 33, homemaker.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil To Foam, $30.90.

This is one foaming facial wash that feels really gentle on my dry skin. It must be the rosemary extract and pH-balanced formula that I read about on the label. It left my skin soft and clean, but not tight and overly squeaky-clean.

Teo Kye Lin, 30, post-grad.

Cleansing isn’t the most exciting part of the our skincare regime, but it’s the most crucial. The perfect cleanser should thoroughly rid your skin of grime without leaving it feeling dry or raw, leaving you with a clean and clear base to apply the rest of your skincare on.
